If you were from China you would still use chopsticks, and if you were from Ireland you woud celabrate St Patricks day. That is how families keep there heritage alive.

I think that when peaple move to amarica from other countries keep there beliefs becauuse maybe they want to show pride that they have there very own beliefs.

families who come from other countries keep there heritage alive because sometimes they eat what they used to eat in there old countries, and they celabrate the same holidays.

They keep it alive by still doing their culture.For example if they dance to spanish music on Friday they would still do it to keep doing it so they could keep their culture alive.

Families who come to America kept there heritage alive with doing both things at there house America things and the place that they were born they could also do things that in the other country they could eat the food or play the games.

I feel so fortunate that my ancestors from Denmark passed down the special traditions and customs to their children, and so on, and so on. Now I know the Danish foods, songs, dances etc., and I taught them to my children too.
